Allegory and Illusion presented a selection of portrait photography from India, Burma, Sri Lanka, and Nepal from the mid-19th century to early 20th century. The exhibition also featured an iPad photo "booth" where visitors could take pictures in front of a painted backdrop similar to those found in the exhibition. I designed the exhibition graphics, interface for the iPad, an online exhibition resource and an installation of panels detailing the stylistic devises used in painted photography.
