The Rubin Museum's signature program series, Brainwave, pairs scientists on stage with artists, mediators, musicians, celebrities, authors, and more. The tenth season of Brainwave focuses on the limits of perception, the possibility of changing our brains, and unleashing creativity, growth, and inspiration. I art directed the photo shoot to produce an image with a monk in an EEG cap, which evokes the pairing of the scientific and the spiritual that Brainwave embodies.
